Sheryl Aquiler
Sheryl is originally from San Diego, California. Her passion for movement started at a young age as a competitive dancer and cheerleader. After attending California State University, Long Beach, she moved to New York City where she was first introduced to Pilates by a friend that needed a student to practice on for her certification. This led Sheryl on a Pilates journey of her own that has spanned over 10 years of Mat & Apparatus certifications, private and group instruction, and managing studios from San Diego to New York City. She is currently living bicoastal, spending the summer months working in Nantucket and the rest of the year in San Diego.
Sheryl brings her fun, positive energy and a welcoming attitude to all her sessions but it’s her focus on form, technique, and execution that make for a challenging and efficient workout with the ultimate goal of long-term health and wellness.

Jacqueline Fritz
Originally from St. Louis, Jacqueline began studying classical Pilates in her teens while dancing at the School of American Ballet, Kansas City Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet. After retiring from ballet she rehabilitated her injuries while getting comprehensively certified at the renowned Kane School of Core Integration in NYC in 2003. As an integrated movement specialist, she is also a certified Iyengar yoga teacher, Thai massage therapist, and Somatic healing coach. She holds a Master's degree in Global Communications and Design Studies from the American University of Paris, and leads wellness retreats globally. Currently she is based between Lisbon, Portugal and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and teaches internationally as well as training instructors throughout Europe. She specializes in working with clients recovering from injuries, dealing with chronic pain and those of special populations. Besides movement and travel, she loves riding bikes, cooking and eating, binge watching movies and television, reading and napping with her dog, Frankie Noodles, and geeking out on psychology podcasts!

Shannon Bell
Shannon Bell grew up with a passion for movement that led her to the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where she earned her BFA in Dance and BA in Arts Administration. Shannon began teaching dance and group fitness during her time at UNCG, while she began her studies of Pilates, Iyengar Yoga, and other somatic practices.
Dealing with chronic pain and injuries as a dancer, she started a journey of lifestyle changes, studying the mind-body connection, and trying any healing modality that would not only help her exist day to day but push her boundaries as an athlete.
She shifted her focus to classical Pilates full time in 2021, and holds her intermediate pilates certification from The Pilates Center in Colorado. Outside of pilates, Shannon is also certified to teach barre, progressing ballet technique, and is greatly influenced by the work of Tom Myers, Eric Franklin, and other somatic practitioners.
Shannons goal in teaching is for clients to achieve a more regulated and resilient system, whole body connection, strong and organized movement patterns, and a sense of freedom and connection they didn’t know was possible.
When she is not teaching, Shannon spends her time dancing in Boston and New York City, spending time by the coast, cooking, and enjoying a good latte!
